100 killed in Bangladesh factory fire

Officials in Bangladesh say a fire at a clothing factory has caused the deaths of at least 110 people. Officials say the number of dead could increase because many people are missing. Rescue workers found the bodies early Sunday after firefighters spent hours putting out the fire. The fire started on the bottom floor of a nine-level building Saturday night in Tazreen Fashions factory near the capital, Dhaka. Many workers were trapped on the upper levels of the building. Some of them jumped to their deaths before rescue workers arrived. One representative of clothing factory workers said it was the deadliest fire in the history of the country's clothing industry.
Separately, officials say at least 11 people have been killed in a bridge collapse in southeastern Bangladesh.

A few notes:

has caused death
--> has caused the deaths

putting out a fire
--> putting out the fire

of nine-level building
--> of a nine-level building

upper levels of building
--> upper levels of the building

jumped to death before
(This is grammatically correct, but he actually said this:)
--> jumped to their deaths before

A very tragic accident.

Jon-san,

Thank you for correcting my English.

This summer, I bought a lower-priced pants made in Bangladesh at a Uni-Qlo store. We can buy some lower-priced products that have been made at bad condition factories in developing nations. I remind it after I heard this news.

I wonder if we pay "proper price" for those products when I hear such tragedy in those countries.
